BX-31 is a two-part polyurethane molding system. BX-31 is mixed 100iso:97curative by weight (or 1 Pt-A Iso to 1 Pt-B Curative by volume) and cures at room temperature. BX-31 cures to a low hardness, Shore A 31 +/- 2, light yellow rubber. Ultimate properties are obtained after 3-4 days of room temperature cure. Cure can be accelerated with heat (130-150°F for 12-16 hours) but a slightly harder polymer (34 +/- 2 Shore A) and slight shrinkage will be obtained.

Applications
BX-31 is used to make molds of masters that contain moderate undercuts. BX-31’s physical properties make it ideal for making detailed concrete molds, patterns and formliners.
