ICORENE® N3025
ICORENE® N3025 is a powder version of polybutene -1 random copolymer with low ethylene content, specifically designed for use as a layer adhesive. The powder is free flowing and easy to distribute using a scatter coating machine.
This grade can be used in various applications as a hot melt adhesive. For example carpet backing or tuft locking or non woven lamination. It features very good adhesion to PP and PE polymer substrates and very low viscosity to give good melt flow around the fibers enabling superior mechanical adhesion. Recycling of the finished PP carpet is possible due to the complete miscibility of the PB1 in PP polymer.
MFR measured by ISO 1133-1 is 2500 g/10 minutes
