TTFEP20FC is a fluoroplastic resin concentrate based on FEP resin containing a well dispersed nucleating agent that acts as a site for foaming during the gas injection extrusion process. This concentrate is supplied in cylindrical pellet form and is used in a nitrogen gas-injected foam extrusion process to produce uniform foam cells in the dielectric insulation. The pellets are approximately 0.125" long by 0.080" diameter. TTFEP20FC is added to TTFEP6 and TTFEP20 at addition rates ranging from 5 to 10% depending on particular customer applications and processing conditions. Application TTFEP20FC is ideal for producing coaxial cable cores in a broad range of sizes.
