Cross-linkable Polyethylene Compound TA 1108 HD is for use in residential and commercial applications. TA 1108 HD is primarily used in flexible pipe intended for potable hot and cold water plumbing. It is also used extensively in radiant heating applications. Crosslinked TA 1108 HD has a combination of properties which result in tubing with excellent flexibility, superior mechanical and thermal performance, and outstanding aesthetics. TA 1108 HD is suitable for SDR 9 tubing applications in continuous service at operating conditions of 140°F (60°C) and 80 psi.

Cross-linkable High Density Polyethylene Compound TA 1117 HD is for use in industrial applications. Crosslinked TA 1117 HD has a beneficial combination of high density and high gel content which result in excellent chemical, abrasion and heat resistance. The properties of TA 1117 HD make it a preferred choice for oil and gas production, mining, and other aggressive industrial applications. TA 1117 HD is suitable for continuous service at operating temperatures of 95°C (203°F).

TA 2410 CX masterbatch is used with Kafrit NA cross-linkable PEX-b compound TA 1117 HD to produce CX-PE pipes. TA 2410 CX is formulated to not accelerate the crosslinking rate of CX-PE pipes, which is intended to allow produced pipe to be stored for several months at ambient conditions with minimal crosslinking taking place before installation. Pipes produced from the CX-PE compound of TA 1117 HD and TA 2410 CX may be butt fused during installation and subsequently allowed to crosslink while in service. TA 2410 CX catalyst contains color pigments, antioxidants and metal deactivator additives, which protect pipes from long term degradation caused by oxidation and heat. TA 2410 CX catalyst masterbatches include UV protection (HALS and UV absorber) for weathering exposure equivalent to six months in Arizona, as tested in accordance with ASTM F2657.

Petrothene YR92126 is a thermoplastic polyolefin-based, semiconductive, deformation resistant, black compound. YR92126 is selected by customers for use as shielding and jacketing for medium voltage power cable. When properly extruded, cables produced with YR92126 will meet the requirements of AEIC CS 5-82 and ICEA S-66-524. Antioxidant has been added to ensure thermal stability during processing and enhance product performance.

Low density, moisture curable polyethylene compound for 125°C/150°C appliance wire and coil-lead wire applications. PEXIDAN® H/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-012FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (67/33) this mixture results in a material curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® H/T is listed with CSA for AWM and CL1251, CL1252 & CL1503, and for UL AWM styles 3173 and 3321. See below for a more complete list of suitable AWM styles. PEXIDAN® H/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

PEXIDAN® J/T is a low density flame-retardant XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a flame-retardant catalyst masterbatch CAT-012FR. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (60:40), the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® J/T is designed to meet SAE J1128 standards for GXL, TXL and SXL type insulation. PEXIDAN® J/T is halogenated but is RoHS-compliant.

Mixed in the proper proportions (95/5) the two components result in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. PEXIDAN® R/T is listed with the Canadian Standards Association for use in RW-90 and RWU-90 XLPE applications and rated to -40°C. PEXIDAN® R/T is non-flame-retardant, halogen-free and RoHS-compliant.

Low density, moisture curable polyethylene compound, for low voltage building wire insulation (CSA RW90, RWU90, AC90, TECK90 - Sunlight Resistant). PEXIDAN® R/T-UV2 is a low density XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-288UV. Mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (95:5), the two-component blend results in a material that is curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. Insulation made with PEXIDAN® R/T-UV2 is rated to -40°C and may be marked Sunlight Resistant ("- SR") in all colors and in all sizes per CSA C22.2 No. 38. PEXIDAN® R/T-UV2 is suitable for CSA Type RPV90 and RPVU90 photovoltaic wire per C22.2 No. 271. PEXIDAN® R/T-UV2 is non-flame retardant, halogen free, and RoHS-compliant.
PEXIDAN® U/T 北美洲
Low density moisture curable polyethylene compound for low voltage underground service entrance cables (UL styles USE / USE-2 and Secondary URD). PEXIDAN® U/T is a low density XLPE system curable by moisture and consists of a silane pre-grafted base compound A-3001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-008. When mixed and extruded in the proper proportions (95/5), the two components result in a material curable by exposure to 70-95°C hot water or even ambient moisture. In order to prevent pre-scorching, the grafted compound and the catalyst masterbatch must be stored separately and mixed only when used. PEXIDAN® U/T is RoHS-compliant. PEXIDAN® U/T is also suitable for medium voltage XLPE jacket applications not requiring flame retardancy.

XLPE FOR LOW VOLTAGE This is a Low-Density Linear Polyethylene, with UV protection, modified with Vinylsilane, wet cross-linking, recommended for the insulation and coating of potency, command, and power cables to voltages up to 6KV. It may be used as insulation and coating in Copper or Aluminum conductors, being supplied in the form of a mono-component. The coloration may be performed with the use of concentrates of regular color, low density polyethylene base. The XPE23 compound contains: - Additives for superior resistance to thermal oxidation; - Additives for resistance to UV light; - Metallic ion neutralizers; - Additives to allow high production speeds; CROSS-LINKING Highly reactive resin / catalyst system, allowing for a quick cross-linking in steam room with saturated vapor (90°C) or heated water (up to 80°C). As a reference, in steam room or heated water, a cable with coating thickness of 0.7mm, nominal section of the conductor up to 2.5 mm², sub-linking up to 3h. A cable with the same coating thickness (0.7mm) and nominal section of the conductor up to 6 mm², sub-linking up to 6h. In ambient curing (25°C / 55% relative humidity), insulation thickness up to 6.0mm, cross-linking up to 48h.
