Tempalux® GF20 is a 20% glass reinforced Polyetherimide (PEI). This product offers high dielectric strength, excellent strength at elevated temperatures, high modulus, and broad chemical resistance. With 20% glass fiber reinforcement the product offers increased tensile strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability over unfilled Tempalux® PEI.

Tempalux® GF30 is a 30% glass reinforced, amorphous Polyetherimide (PEI) polymer. This product offers high dielectric strength, excellent strength at elevated temperatures, high modulus, and broad chemical resistance. With 30% glass fiber reinforcement the product offers greater levels of tensile strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability over 20% glass reinforced Tempalux®.

Tempalux® WM is Westlake’s medical grade polyetherimide (PEI). This material is FDA, USP VI, and ISO-10993 compliant. Its regulatory compliance profile and lot traceability make it ideal for use in medical and life science applications. Sterilization methods include EtO gas, radiation, steam autoclaving, dry heat, and cold sterilization.

Tempalux® Polyetherimide (PEI) is an amorphous material that offers a combination of useful characteristics, including high dielectric strength, high strength at elevated temperatures (up to 180°C for extended periods of time), high modulus, and broad chemical resistance. Tempalux® is inherently flame resistant with low smoke emission. The material has good resistance to environmental stress cracking when exposed to a wide variety of chemicals.
