Another strength of Duratron® U1000 PEI shapes are their hydrolysis and chemical resistance, enabling them to withstand repeated autoclaving cycles in medical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology markets.

Semitron® ESd 410C PEI Polyetherimide electro static dissipative shapes exhibit excellent dimensional stability characteristics, and are ideal for semiconductor and electronics handling environments. This Semitron® ESd grade in particular can be used in temperature environments up to 410° F without degradation, and offers low stress for tighter tolerances during machining, a reduced coefficient of linear thermal expansion, and minimal water absorption.
