Peroxide cured, Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer, 46-55 °IRHD. Terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and diene monomers. Complies with FDA code of Federal regulations title CFR21 section 177.2600. Water and n-hexane tested. Also complies to the requirements of USP 25, NF20, 2002, Class 6. To meet ASTM D2000/SAE J200 line call-out M3CA507, A25, B35, EA14, F17. Excellent water and steam resistance with good compression set properties. Heat and chemical resistance is superior to that of sulphur cured EPDM. Not oil resistant.

General Purpose, Ethylene Propylene Terpolymer (EPT) 75-85 IRHD. Terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and diene monomers. To meet Aerospace specification DTD 5597A Grade 80. ASTM & ISO designation = EPDM. For sealing applications where good fluid resistance and low compression set are of prime importance. For continuous and/or intermittent use in contact with phosphate ester or silicone hydraulic fluids within the temperature ranges as quoted. Suitable for applications in contact with air, this material has excellent resistance to ozone. Unsuitable for use in contact with fuels, mineral oil based and diester oils and silicate fluids or greases derived from these.

Excellent resistance in sealing applications for mineral oils. Excellent compression set, tear and abrasion resistance. Good water resistance but poor against ozone and weather.

To meet: ASTM D2000/SAE J200 line call-out: M5BG710, A14, B14, EO14, EO34, F17. The low acrylonitrile content of this compound provides excellent low temperature flexibility, in sealing conditions where resistance to mineral oil, alcohol, paraffin and low-aromatic petrol is required. Not recommended for use with acetone, benzene, chlorinated solvents or high-aromatic petrol. Good water resistance but poor against ozone and weather.

The low acrylonitrile content of this compound provides excellent resistance to mineral oil, alcohol, paraffin and low-aromatic petrol in sub-zero temperature applications. Not recommended for use with acetone, benzene, chlorinated solvents or high-aromatic petrol. Good water resistance but poor against ozone and weather.
