This specialty concentrate contains a high purity, fine particle size talc in polystyrene carrier and was designed to be used as a nucleating agent in foamed PS sheet. It is a cost effective solution and delivers excellent performance. It is also utilized as coextrusion material during extrusion of boards and films with glossy finish. Its properties can be modified by blending with HIPS and SBS copolymers. It can be easily colored. It is not designed for applications where exposure to weather conditions for long periods of time can be expected.
