AXELERON™ CS 7540 NT CPD is a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) extrusion compound ("CPD") produced by the UNIPOL™ PE Process. It is a general purpose insulation that can be used as a high speed telephone singles insulation (air-core cable only; not recommended for jelly-filled cable) and high frequency coaxial inner skin. It combines excellent electrical properties with outstanding stress crack resistance. AXELERON™ GP A-0037 BK CPD is a high quality pelleted carbon black masterbatch. It is specifically designed to be compatible with polyethylene resins compound ("CPD") as black jacketing for Telecom and Power cables. It is a 45% carbon black masterbatch that, when properly let down in specific polyethylene resins, meets the carbon black content and dispersion requirement for telecom and power cable specifications. AXELERON™ GP A-0037 BK CPD uses a fine particle size (20 milli microns average), low moisture absorbing carbon black pigment to obtain excellent weathering resistance in the finished product. A standard let down is 5.85% to give a 2.6% carbon black level in the final product. AXELERON™ GP A-0037 BK CPD is for industrial use only and is not recommended for use with potable water. Specifications AXELERON™ GP A-0037 BK CPD meets stringent Dow Wire & Cable tests for quality assurance.
