Polifil® PE RP-LDPE North America
Polifil ® RP-LDPE is a soft, tough material with good clarity and high chemical resistance. LDPE remains flexible and retains impact strength at very low temperatures. High melt flow (low viscosity) grades are injection molded into products such as containers and lids. Low melt flow (high viscosity) grades are used in blown films for bags and construction, extruded sheeting and pipe, and blow molded containers such as squeeze bottles. Linear Low Density (LLDPE) resins exhibit higher strength and stiffness than traditional LDPE resins for many of these same applications.
PolyCal™ EC North America
This product is formulated using a high heat stability calcium carbonate and was designed for com- patibility with a wide variety of extrusion coating resins. It will improve line speeds, print quality, and enhance the poly to substrate adhesion. Suitable Applications: extrusion coating Environmentally Beneficial Calcium carbonate is a plentiful, natural mineral and can be used to effectively displace a significant portion of the petrochemical based component in the targeted application. The improved productivity and the lower energy consumption awarded by using our concentrates all help to minimize the carbon footprint of the end product. Regulatory Compliance The ingredients in our concentrates are approved for use in direct food contact packaging and are heavy metals free making them compliant with regulations such as California Proposition 65 and CONEG.

POLYDEF Ag+ LDPE is a concentrated masterbatch formulated from silver nanoparticles (Ag) designed for PE and PP-based plastics that adds bactericidal properties to the finished polymer elements. The presence of nanosilver in the protected polymer ensures a biocidal effect by inhibiting the metabolic pathways of microorganisms, contributing to the elimination of sources of unpleasant smells and the extension of the lifetime of the material. The additive is environmentally friendly, does not affect the physical properties of the polymers and does not cause degradation of the protected material. The component provides long-lasting microbiological protection (microbiological efficacy of = 99.98%), as well as enhances the safety and attractiveness of the product. The nano additive is also very stable at high temperatures and in high humidity compared to traditionally used biocides.
