Glastic® 1494 América do Norte
Glastic® Grade 1494 is a fiberglass reinforced thermoset polyester material. It is available in sheet form as well as a wide selection of channel, angle, and tube sizes. These materials are the industry standard for flame and arc/track resistant electrical insulation. In addition, the excellent combination of high strength, flame resistance, and low smoke generation has given it application in many other areas such as transit and marine where safe, yet economical materials are required.
Glastic® 1580 América do Norte
Glastic 1580 is an easily fabricated laminate that exhibits excellent flame resistance. This flame-resistant laminate meets the UL94 V0 specification of Underwriters Laboratories. This material was originally designed to meet the television industry's safety assurance requirements. Glastic 1580 has exceptional flame resistance, arc resistance and a high temperature capability for applications such as flyback transformers and arc stack assemblies.

Grade 1608 is a very high-strength, general purpose, corrosion-resistant material. Recommended for compression molding only. UL® Recognized. Meets FDA requirements for food contact.
Glastic® 1642-10-E América do Norte
Glastic 1642-10-E is a standoff insulator that is molded of UL recognized flame resistant fiberglass-reinforced thermoset polyester molding compound. Glastic 1642-10-E features shatter resistance and closer height tolerances than commonly available in porcelain insulators. Moisture and heat resistance properties of Glastic 1642-10-E are higher than those of conventional plastic insulators. Glastic 1642-10-E should not be used upside down if there is a possibility of the center hole being filled with water.

A NEMA GPO-2 glass mat reinforced polyester molded sheet. ETS-FR-II is UL recognized with a flame rating of 94V-0 and arc resistance of 185 seconds. This grade is an IEEE Thermal Class B, 130°C electrical/160°C mechanical material. Typical uses are general purpose electrical insulation application where flame retardancy is required. Haysite Plastics H1000 América do Norte
Haysite Grade 1000 laminate sheet is an outstanding material that is used in applications requiring exceptional weather and corrosion resistance. H1000 meets the rigid New York City Transit - Specification #64. Transit Authorities use Grade H1000 under their 3rd rail ties to provide electrical insulation, corrosion protection, UV resistance & most importantly to insure low smoke/flame toxicity in case of electrical failure. H1000, in a pultruded profile shape is used for electrical insulation for electrical cables, conduit & 3rd rail protection for workers.
