- AgriPlast NFNI 3070/40000 HM is made up of 30% cellulose fibres obtained from meadow grass and 70% PLA (polylactic acid). - AgriPlast granules can be used with any injection moulding machine and processed into moulded components such as spoons, consoles, machine cases, protective caps, etc. The granules can also be dyed any colour. - Ideal ease of flow for injection moulding. - High cycle times when manufacturing complex moulded parts. - AgriPlast is lighter than comparable fibre-reinforced composite plastics. - Fire protection without antimony and halogen. - Recyclable and residue-free disposal when incinerated. - Processing Notes for AgriPlast NFNI 3070/40000 HM: sufficiently dry at 70 °C, heating zones of 170 °C decreasing to 130 °C, possible short-term peak melting temperature of 180 °C, moulding temperature of 15 - 25 °C, avoid frictional and shearing heat, make sure the tool is well ventilated.

BG4400 is made primarily with polylactic acid polymer (PLA). It will degrade in compost environment producing: carbon dioxide, water and biomass. Features: - Good Processing when dried properly (< 1,000 ppm moisture) - Does not produce noxious off gas - Agency rating: US FDA 175.300 EU 10/2011 EC 1907/2006 - In-line drying is needed to control moisture which will cause processing issues - Good Printability without pre-treatment - Good Weldability - Meets requirements for compostable degradable polymers: DIN EN 13492 and ASTM D6400 - Bulk storage possible in dry silo (maintaining a -30 0 F dew point).

Bioblend BT grades are developed for soft and flexible injection molded application. The grades are naturally high heat-stable at temperatures up to 95°C. Bioblend BT grades are biodegradable in all conditions. - injection molding grade - biopolymer compound, mineral filled - can be blended with bamboo powder (B), rice husk (R), coffee husk (C), wheat straw (W) and wood powder (H) - balanced flexibility to rigidity, good impact properties - naturally heat-stable up to 95°C - biodegradable in controlled (e.g. industrial compost) und non-controlled conditions (e.g. landfill, soil, roadside) - easy to process / easy to eject - food contact safe - dishwasher-ok, microwave-ok - global availability Bioblend BT25S (B/R/C/W/H) HH is a bio-polymer polymerized of succinic acid and 1,4-butanediol. The compound is enhanced with a blend of natural mineral and organic fillers. The material can additionally be blended with bamboo powder, rice husk or coffee husk to support a natural look. Bioblend BT25S (B/R/C/W/H) HH is designed to be completely biodegradable & compostable (microbial and enzymatic degradation) in the targeted disposal environment; it is biodegradable both in controlled (e.g. industrial compost factilities) and in non-controlled (e.g. soil, roadside, landfill) conditions. The grade offers a significant reduction in carbon footprint compared to traditional fossil-based plastics. The material has got balanced stiffness values with good impact properties. Bioblend BT25S (B/R/C) HH offers a very good processability and flow with an easy ejection of parts from the mould. Cycle times can be kept short. Part wall-thickness shall be greater than 1.2 mm.

Bioblend LT grades (optimized cPLA grade) are developed for rigid injection molded applications. The grades can be crystallized/annealed in order to have the part heat-stable at temperatures up to 110°C. Bioblend LT grades are biodegradable in controlled conditions. - injection molding grade - biopolymer compound, mineral filled - can be blended with bamboo powder (B), rice husk (R), coffee husk (C), wheat straw (W) and wood powder (H) - high rigidity - can be crystallized/annealed to be heatstable up to 110°C - biodegradable in controlled conditions (e.g. industrial compost) according to DIN EN 13432 / ASTM D6400 - easier to process than virgin PLA/cPLA - food contact safe - dishwasher-ok / microwave-ok - global availability Bioblend LT25B (B/R/C/W/H) is a modified PLA-blend. The grade is enhanced with a blend of natural mineral fillers. Bioblend LT grades are easy to process and prepared for a fast and efficient postprocessing crystallization/annealing process. The material can additionally be blended with bamboo powder, rice husk or coffee husk, wheat straw and wood powder to support a natural look. Bioblend LT25B (B/R/C/W/H) is compostable/biodegradable (microbial and enzymatic degradation) in the targeted disposal environment; it is biodegradable in controlled (e.g. industrial compost facilities) conditions according to EN 13432 (for Europe) and ASTM D6400 (for the USA). Bioblend LT grades offer a significant reduction in carbon footprint compared to fossil-based plastics. The grades exhibit excellent strength and stiffness properties as well as a good flow combined with improved elongation values. An increased rate of crystallization allows an annealing to a heat-stable temperature of 110 °C (HDT-B) and above. Part wall-thickness shall be greater than 1.5 mm.
