The level required may vary according to desired properties, however the recommended addition level is between 1 to 3 percent. The maximum level of addition of MB6002 based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 4 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any other additives.

ALKAMIX MB6003 is an antistatic masterbatch based on an Ethoxylated Alkyl Amine compound at a concentration of 2 percent. ALKAMIX MB6003 can be added to polyethylene during extrusion to assist in dissipation of static charge build-up during subsequent conversion of the film. The recommended addition level is 3 percent for gauges less than 100 micron and 2 percent for gauges greater than 100 micron. However, care must be taken when added to very high slip film grades, as both slip (Erucamide or Oleamide) and the antistatic additive (an ethoxylated amine) are surface migratory and their combination on the surface of the film could result in problems with treatment, sealing, printing etc... The maximum level of addition of MB6003 based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 4 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any other additives.

ALKAMIX MB6005 is a combined slip and antiblock masterbatch based on a linear low density polyethylene carrier. It is formulated with slip additive (Erucamide) at a concentration of 8 percent and antiblock additive at a concentration of 25 percent. ALKAMIX MB6005 can be added to linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) during extrusion to reduce film blocking and coefficient of friction. The level required will vary according to desired properties and presence of any other additives, however the recommended addition level is between 1 and 2 percent. The maximum level of addition of MB6005 based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 2.5 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any other additives.

ALKAMIX MB6006 is compatible with the process aid used in Alkatuff film polymers. The maximum level of addition of MB6006 based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 5 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any other additives.

ALKAMIX MB6007 is a slip masterbatch formulated with Oleamide at a concentration of 1.1 percent. ALKAMIX MB6007 can be added to polyethylene during extrusion to reduce the coefficient of friction. The level required will vary according to coefficient of friction desired; gauge of film and other factors such as the presence of other additives (including antiblocks, colourants / pigments, etc...). The maximum level of addition of MB6007 based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 15 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any slip additives.

The maximum level of addition of ALKAMIX MB6009 based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 6.5 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any antiblock additives.

UV stabilised masterbatch.

SAMBA is a slip masterbatch formulated with Erucamide at a concentration of 2 percent. SAMBA can be added to polyethylene during extrusion to reduce the coefficient of friction of films. The level required will vary according to coefficient of friction desired; gauge of film, polymer type (LLDPE, LDPE, etc..) and other factors such as the presence of other additives (including antiblocks, colourants / pigments, etc...). For injection moulded articles, typical addition rates of SAMBA would be 2.0% due to the thickness of the moulded article. Higher addition rates of SAMBA may result in problems with printing or label adhesion, or possibly warpage. The maximum level of addition of SAMBA based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 10 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any slip additives.

ALKAMIX UHSMB is a combined slip and antiblock masterbatch based on a low density polyethylene carrier. It is formulated with slip additive (Erucamide) at a concentration of 1.6 percent and antiblock additive at a concentration of 9 percent. ALKAMIX MBUHSMB can be added to low dnsity polyethylene (LDPE) or linear low density polyethylene during extrusion to reduce film blocking and coefficient of friction. The level required will vary according to desired properties and presence of any other additives, however the recommended addition level is 2% to LDPE and 5% to LLPDE. The maximum level of addition of UHSMB based on both good manufacturing practice and to ensure conformance to the requirements to the United States Food and Drug Administration Regulations CFR21 is 12.5 percent, when added to a polyethylene formulation free of any other additives.

LDF433AB is a low density polyethylene designed for a variety of medium to heavy gauge (70 - 200µm) applications where increased stiffness is required. LDF433AB is formulated with antiblock and stabilisation (BHT free). LDF433AB is intended for use in medium to heavy gauge (70 - 200µm) applications where increased stiffness is required. LDF433AB is suitable for food contact applications and conforms to the requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration CFR 21 177.1520, paragraph (c), item 2.1.

XLF175 is a low density polyethylene of medium density designed to meet the needs of the overwrap market. XLF175 is formulated with a BHT free antioxidant package. XLF175 is intended primarily for applications such as the overwrap of paper products. It is necessary to add suitable levels of additives, particularly slip, to meet the conversion needs of high speed overwrapping equipment. XLF175 is suitable for food contact applications and conforms to the requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration CFR 21 177.1520, paragraph (c), item 2.1.

401 is a hexene copolymer linear low density polyethylene, designed for a variety of film applications. 401 is formulated with antiblock, stabilisation and a high level of slip additive. 401 is formulated with additional slip additive for manufacture at 25µm and below. It can be used in applications such as garbage bags and other light gauge applications. 401 is not recommended for use in outdoor applications (especially applications where there may be prolonged exposure to sunlight, eg. agricultural films) without the addition of appropriate Hindered Amine based Light Stabilisers (HALS). 401 is suitable for food contact applications and conforms to the requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration CFR 21 177.1520, paragraph (c), item 3.1.

LL0228 is a hexene copolymer linear low density polyethylene. LL0228 is formulated with stabilisation additives . LL0228 is intended for use in pipe extrusion applications. LL0228 is suitable for food contact applications and conforms to the requirements of the United States Food and Drug Administration CFR 21 177.1520, paragraph (c), item 3.1.

Alkatuff LL425 is a hexene copolymer linear low density polyethylene, designed for high quality cast film applications. Alkatuff LL425 is formulated with stabilisation additives, but contains no other additives. Film Extrusion: Alkatuff LL425 is intended for cast film applications that require toughness, high clarity and processability. Addition of a UV stabiliser should be considered where the intended application involves intermittent to extended exposure to sunlight.

Alkatuff LL438 is a high performance hexene linear low density polyethylene copolymer designed for a variety of applications requiring enhanced sealing characteristics and toughness. Alkatuff LL438 is formulated with process aid and a process stabilisation package but contains no slip or antiblocking additives Film Extrusion: Alkatuff LL438 is intended for applications that require enhanced sealing performance, such as lamination and form, fill and seal films. Excellent toughness also makes Alkatuff LL438 ideal for heavy duty and low temperature applications. Addition of a UV stabiliser should be considered where the intended application involves intermittent to extended exposure to sunlight.

Alkatuff LL501 is a hexene linear low density polyethylene copolymer designed for a variety of general purpose film applications. Alkatuff LL501 is formulated with a process stabilisation package but contains no slip or antiblocking additives. Alkatuff LL705UV is UV stabilised to provide prolonged outdoor protection in Australian conditions. Alkatuff LL705UV is a general purpose rotational moulding grade, uses of which include water and agricultural tanks, leisure craft, and playground equipment. Alkatuff LL705UV complies with the base resin requirements of AS/NZS 4766 Rotationally moulded buried, partially buried and non-buried storage tanks for water and chemicals.

Alkatuff LL710UV is a hexene LLDPE material specifically designed for rotational moulding and high speed extrusion processes. It has good ESCR, chemical resistance and toughness. Alkatuff LL710UV is UV stabilised to provide prolonged outdoor protection in Australian conditions. Alkatuff LL710UV is ideal for intricate items in a wide variety of consumer goods and playground equipment where good surface appearance and UV protection is important.

Alkatuff LL711UV is a hexene LLDPE material specifically designed for rotational moulding applications that require excellent ESCR, chemical resistance, stiffness and toughness. Alkatuff LL711UV is UV stabilised to provide prolonged outdoor protection in Australian conditions. Alkatuff LL711UV is designed for chemical, diesel fuel and water tanks, as well as other applications where toughness, stiffness and UV protection is important. Alkatuff LL711UV complies with the base resin requirements of AS/NZS 4766 Rotationally moulded buried, partially buried and non-buried storage tanks for water and chemicals.
